Peace seems to in short supply in recent days.
In this country we have an undercurrent of anxiety about the soaring food and petrol prices. People who should be able to live peaceful lives are full of worry.
In Gaza there is anger, fear, violence on both sides. Their word for peace is a greeting on both sides, shalom or salam. But neither can quite bring themselves to offer it to the other.
Bethlehem, just inside West Bank territory is the scene where angels stood to declare “Peace on Earth”, all because of the birth of a baby. Jesus brings peace with God for all who want it. The good thing is that peace with God brings with it an inner peace, because knowing his love makes us secure, grounded, complete.
If you’d like to know more why not pop up to see us? This peace is for everyone who says yes to Jesus, God with us.

Organized by pastors Pam and Katy
In aid of relief following Hurri-cane Freddie in Malawi.
For many years Pastor Pam from our Capel Church has visited and befriended a small community in Malawi where her friend Ruth is a teacher. Earlier this year a landslide following hurricane “Freddie” swept away the homes and crops of several families attached to the school. There is an ongoing need for support to buy food until the next harvest in February.
